Subject Councils

PIC has established Subject Councils for all the subjects in the college. A group of about five to seven students is selected to form the Council. Senior and academically sound students become Coordinators and Sub-coordinators and they coordinate and facilitate the Subject Council activities with the help of other students of the subject. The Council works under the guidance of a Patron, Principal, Faculty Dean and Department teachers. Students are inspired to take participatory leadership in the activities of council so that a wider awareness of the subject and leadership qualities of the students are developed through these Councils.
Councils organize open house discussions, fares, exhibitions, extension lectures, seminars, conferences, research activities, research projects and exchange programmes etc. Councils function with interdisciplinary, collaboratory and participatory approach.
