NSS/NCC/Rover Ranger
PIC conducts the NCC, NSS, and Rover-Ranger activities, which play a significant role in character building and transforming the individualistic “I” into the collective “We” and the self-centered “self” into consideration for others. PIC ensures that these activities do not devolve into deceitful or fraudulent practices. The primary objective of these activities should be developmental rather than detrimental. PIC makes diligent efforts to promote such extracurricular activities and possesses valuable experience to enhance the academic environment through intervention in these activities.
NSS Programme
The NSS was established in PIC with the objective of identifying the needs and problems of the community and involving students and teachers in a problem-solving process to foster their sensitivity towards society.
PIC provides atmosphere -
- To develop a sense of social and civic responsibility among themselves.
- To gain an understanding of the community in which they work.
- To acquire leadership qualities and a democratic attitude.
Rover Rangers
The mission of Scouting is to contribute to the education of young people through a value-based system known as the “Scout promise and law.” This system aims to build a better world where people are sensitive to society and play constructive roles.
Objectives -
- A Rover and a Ranger lead themselves towards the development of their own character while supporting their families and society.
- Students in PIC are motivated to make positive contributions to their families, schools, and institutions, providing assistance to society without any self-interest.
- It provides an ideal platform for students of every age group to engage in social welfare service alongside their studies through various camps.
Multi-dimensional skills are also developed in the students, which motivate them to work confidently in all situations.
