Subject Councils

Parishkar International College (PIC) has established Subject Councils for all the subjects in the college. A group of about five to seven students is selected to form each Council. Senior and academically proficient students serve as Coordinators and Sub-coordinators, responsible for coordinating and facilitating the activities of the Subject Council with the assistance of other students in the respective subjects. The Councils operate under the guidance of a Patron, the Principal, Faculty Deans, and Department teachers. Students are encouraged to actively participate in the council’s activities, fostering a broader understanding of the subjects and nurturing their leadership skills. The Councils organize open house discussions, fairs, exhibitions, extension lectures, seminars, conferences, research activities, research projects, and exchange programs, among other initiatives. The Councils adopt an interdisciplinary, collaborative, and participatory approach in their functioning.
